Is there a right way to do Network Marketing as a business? Here’s a funny video I found on the Internet showing how many people perceive the business. (Yes, I borrowed the video as a great example.)
Would you go to a social event to hand out business cards? If you are like me you would go there to socialize and have a good time. Network marketing is about working with a “few” people you know and working “down” through their warm market. You bring the credibility of the company and they bring the influence.
Network marketing is a crock pot business and not an overnight sensation (surely not one week of doing it wrong). Network marketing is a “do as you go business” generally started on a part-time basis. A good rule of thumb in our industry is to make three times your normal income before going full-time in the business.
Many Network Marketing companies (with a long track record) have great training programs if you are willing to learn. Otherwise, you can keep the above video as “your perception” of Network Marketing as a business. What a great video.
