How do you know when your upline sponsor(s) don’t support you in your Network Marketing Business and it’s time to move on or move away?

They have a major event and promote (art of promotion) crossline instead of downline.

There are all kinds of excuses like pin level, the lack of support these crossline people get in their own organization, etc. It’s always our job to “support the company” (be on board and not hinder the spirit of unity) and support crossline. However, should you exclude promoting the people in your own organization? Note: these so-called leaders will always have an answer but are you asking them the hard question: Why don’t you support your own downline who’s been paying your leadership check for years?

Note: Many distributors in various organizations don’t understand (because they’ve never gotten to this level) that leadership pay is approximately 70% of the successful distributors pay. In other words, most of their pay!

I was recently at an event where this was happening and “there was no energy in the room.” I’m not talking about the newbies that don’t have a clue about Network Marketing and the art of promotion. I’m talking about those Distributors that know the score and understands “all” the games. Don’t you know that negative communication travels farther and faster than positive conversation? People talk when they are pissed off. You can’t believe the comments I’ve heard about this particular group lately.

You may be part of a group that have people who haven’t done the business for years show up and immediately they are being promoted. The reason for this is of course is obvious (to get them back in the game) but if you are doing this to the exclusion of producers, and those that have always shown up and supported your check, the obvious question is why. Start watching for the disconnects. So and so is the best trainer and that’s why they are on stage at an event. Or so and so (use to be) a Diamond Distributor. That’s interesting…they are the best and they don’t do the business? What happened–are they just confused?

Why are some organizations living in the past? The newbies, always being promoted as the story goes, don’t even know who you are talking about. In fact, that includes the founder of your company. Who cares?

If you find yourself in this kind of organization stop accepting those sweet, polite, little smiles regarding your exclusion and move on. You’re dealing with long-term losers who have forgotten “everything” they have ever preached and learned about Network Marketing. And so, now they are just promoting themselves. It won’t work for them or you so move on!

Unity and support is a two way street!

The Sin of Pride

This sounds like preaching but it’s about Network Marketing Success.

God hates pride above all sins because pride leads to “every sin.” Here is a passage you might want to memorize if you want to continue your Network Marketing Success:

“And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man. And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.” (Acts 12:21-23)

People who have had success often succumb to the sin of pride. Do you notice it in our politicians?

Republicans Yuck!

How did Republicans get to the place where the top candidates are totally yuck and at least half the debate last night is spent on their personal lives?

An out-of-touch rich guy (Mitt earned $22 million in 2010) who wants everyone else to protect his money with endless wars (while he and his 5 boys won’t serve in the military) and a debauched old white man who is utterly despicable.

I don’t care about Mitt’s tax rate because who wants to pay taxes to a bunch of warmongering corporate military contractors and bailed out banks anyway?

What I can’t figure out is who’s worse as the top choice?

Gingrich’s first wife, Jackie Battley, was served with divorce papers while she was in the hospital recovering from uterine cancer. He left Battley for Marianne Ginther, his second wife, who he was having an affair with while still married to his first wife. In 1999 Ginther had been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and Newt was having an affair with Callista Bisek, twenty-three years his junior, who then became his third wife. Meanwhile, Gringrich was condemning former President Clinton’s infidelities with Monica Lewinsky. He had affairs with other women during his 1974 and 1976 congressional campaigns including Anne Manning who is quoted as saying they had oral sex because Gingrich wanted to be able to say “I never slept with her.” He apparently requested an open marriage with Ginther, saying, according to Ginther, “You want me all to yourself. Callista doesn’t care what I do.”

Do you really want people with these kinds of morals in office? Newt spending the day screwing and Mitt telling any lie imaginable just as he is doing now to become our President?

Nation of Hypocrites

Mitt Romney has (5) sons that won’t participate in the military and their Father’s war plans in Iran (or huge build up of the U.S. Military when we are broke as a nation) but he’s a warmonger when it comes to other people’s sons and daughters?

“My sons are adults. They’ve chosen not to serve in the military in active duty and I respect their decision in that regard. … And one of the ways my sons are showing support for our nation is helping me get elected because they think I’d be a great president.” Mitt Romney

You might have noticed Ron Paul’s final response in a Republican debate regarding Newt’s chicken hawk stance:

People have watched Fox News until they have fried their collective brains (I live in one of those states considered Fox News Country).

And so, you get reasoning like the following: “I don’t believe in national health care because the government can’t do anything right.” Said by a friend that works for the Post Office. No matter what he thinks about the Post Office he’s worked for the Post Office for years so why doesn’t he leave?

“All those ignorant low-income people took out loans on houses they couldn’t afford and that’s why we had the bank bail outs.” Said by a relative that’s burned his brain watching Fox News. When I mentioned that this was only a small part of the bail out he said: “No, it’s a large part of the problem.” Fact is, the taxpayers could have bought every subprime mortgage in America for $1.4 trillion while the banks received zero interest loans for around $14 trillion not counting their bailouts (TARP) at the time. This covered their Casino style bets in derivatives and CDO’s. Many so-called capitalist don’t have a problem with socialism for the rich (giving them large bonuses for running broke companies and a corrupt tax system) but are against government safety nets for the poor. Note: This same relative used medicare when he had heart surgery. Wonder why he didn’t turn it down? Another relative racked up $3.3 million because of illness (all paid for by our government). Only the rich should go to doctors and hospitals? We bury 45,000 poor people each year because they can’t afford health care.

The religious right follows the “Prince of Peace” but supports the biggest warmonger in the Republican Party (Rick Santorum) who’s Catholic. He’s strong on abortion but not so strong on restraint regarding the killing of Muslin women and children. Many on the religious right would call the Catholic Church the “Mother of Harlots” described in Revelations 17 but they think Rick’s their man.

I won’t get into the Democrats because they have amply proved being hypocrites and destroyed the bill of rights along with the Republicans.

Every where I go I listen to Chicken Hawk Christians and that includes people who have been in the military without seeing action. There’s a big difference between putting on cowboy boots and riding a bull. Personally they are pacifist by action but nationally they want to solve all problems with the military. Some kind of paradox, MSM propaganda, or just being an idiot?

Why do Americans continue to fall for warmongers who solve all “our problems” with force?

A psychologist is at a party talking with a small group of people, when a man comes up behind him and taps him on the shoulder. The psychologist turns around and the man hauls off and decks him. The psychologist gets up, brushes himself off, turns to the group and declares: “That’s his problem.”

Perhaps Mitt Romney will come to the same conclusions as his father George Romney did about Vietnam after he commits us to another endless war in some place like Iran (Mitt got deferments during the Vietnam war).

Leadership is About the Future

The other day I was reading a blog post and the author was rehashing an old issue. Since I know the person I realized that he was arguing about people and issues some thirty years in the past. He was using the past to put down people that were having “current issues” and “future issues.” In that regard, he not only opened old wounds he alienated another group because he was comparing them to “these people in the past.” Not smart!

Many fights aren’t worth fighting and much of the past should remain in the past. What is your objective in rehashing old issues?

If it’s not about the future, and greatly improving the future, then keep your mouth shut. Otherwise, you are not a leader. Leadership is about where you are going and not where you’ve been.

Who’s running this country anyway?

Of course we realize that not all Jewish people are Zionist and many Christians are Zionist:

Even so, I’ve gotten into a really weird habit. On just about any issue (particularly political) I check the religious background of those involved. Here’s the background on Dana Bash in Wikipedia:

Before becoming an on-air reporter, she was a producer for CNN on Capitol Hill, specializing in coverage of the U.S. Senate. Bash is the daughter of Stu Schwartz, an ABC News producer who is currently the senior broadcast producer of ABC News, based at Good Morning America. Why have I gotten into this weird habit? Because Jewish people are 2% of the population but they keep showing up as the heads of media, banking, government, etc. Of course, that’s not a bad thing and many Jews are very smart people who probably deserve their positions in life. However, some of us are opposed to Zionist political policies and wonder why all roads lead to Israel and the control of the U.S. in politics, banking, media, etc. because Jews are only 2% of the population.

If you think I’m antisemitic or against God’s chosen people you are wrong I just think this is statistically weird so I’ve gotten into this habit!

False Flag Events

What will be the outcome of the next False Flag event?

False flag (aka Black Flag) operations are covert operations designed to deceive the public in such a way that the operations appear as though they are being carried out by other entities. The name is derived from the military concept of flying false colors; that is flying the flag of a country other than one’s own. False flag operations are not limited to war and counter-insurgency operations, and can be used in peace-time. Wikipedia

Whether it’s a dirty bomb exploded in a city or the attacking of Iran because of a false flag event I won’t believe a word of the official story and I certainly won’t be alone in that belief. Don’t I love my country? You bet I do but it’s not the country I was born and raised in (at least I thought it was different).

At the moment, I have no reason at all to believe anything our government and/or media tells me. Why? Not because of what happened on 9/11 but what has happened after 9/11. Also, it’s not because of the oil wars facilitated by 9/11. I remember setting in my bosses office on the day after 9/11 while we joked about Bush now being able to attack Iraq and other countries with oil resources. Also, I was draft age during the Vietnam war. No one could explain the reason for the war to the people even though it went on and on. People like Henry Kissinger talked about the “Domino Theory” but for most of us it wasn’t a good reason (now proved to be false). The only thing that made any sense was special interest wanting the war to continue.

Domino theory, however, survived these attacks and lived on in the Nixon administration, surviving into the 1970s in the minds of John Connally, Gerald Ford and Henry Kissinger. They took out a full page advertisement in the 6 June 1976 issue of The New York Times, exhorting Italian leaders to keep communists out of government there to prevent Mediterranean dominoes from falling. Henry Kissinger remains attached to the notion still. In 1994 he wrote, “[e]ven in the absence of a central conspiracy, and for all the West knew at the time, the Domino Theory might nevertheless have been valid. Singapore’s savvy and thoughtful Prime Minister, Lee Kuan Yew, clearly thought so, and he has usually proven right.”

And so, what changed my worldview? I didn’t realize that the press and the people would go along with any lie no matter how big the lies and how crazy the reasons given for the lies.

I actually thought people were fairly intelligent and would see the truth if it was presented to them. I was wrong! Not only will people not see truth they won’t even bother to look at it. In fact, for many people I don’t even think that they care about truth. Truth is a much lower priority than other issues like jobs and careers.

Will the tide turn against the ridiculous jokes we see in the Republican debates and in the white house? I don’t know. What do I know? My worldview has forever changed. I don’t feel that I am alone in that change. Yes, Obama did bring change but I doubt it was the change he desired.

The change is what many feel today. I don’t trust or believe a word you say!

Networking Team Tension

Team member competition is often necessary in Network Marketing but…

Listening to the rumble and tension is key to team direction and alignment. Sometimes team members are at great odds because everyone is building a business to win. The art of promotion is a significant part of winning in Network Marketing. And so, we often hear: “It’s about the new people when it comes to promotion.” Is it? Is it about leaving the “old customer” with steady proven results while building new business?

Building strong and deep is not always about the new person. It’s about everyone winning even when there are winners and losers. Sometimes the solution to problems are too easy for leaders to even realize it.

In team meetings promises and comments shouldn’t be made unless the intent is to keep the promises. For example, several high level leaders may comment: “We are there for you!” However, they never answer your calls or call you back. In other words, their promises are not kept. People upline, downline, and crossline comment about the results versus promises at events. Do you think these comments go unnoticed? In the final outcome, are you the team leader or are you not? Believe me, you are not!

Listening to the tension is essential because people often see and hear things you don’t perceive or know that hurt team efforts. For example, one very successful team member (at the highest pin level) is not promoted or recognized because they aren’t trusted and considered a team player. Also, they are not part of the inner circle. Remember, Network Marketing is the art of promotion and Distributors know it. And so, their accomplishments are overlooked while lesser success is promoted. Question: “Do you think this slight goes unnoticed by all the team members?” Perhaps you don’t care that it is noticed or not (power play) but this is a huge morale destroyer and “it will hurt your team morale!” Why? Because the lack of fairness never goes unnoticed and is directly associated with “trust.” So what if you don’t like the successful team member?

Their downline may stop coming to your events but often the person you don’t like will show up just to put a damper on your event with their body language and comments. When we demote others we just “automatically” demote ourself.

From personal experience we know that tension doesn’t go unnoticed. My wife and I have had even low-level distributors tell us that so and so is not being promoted and getting recognition for their results. Game playing and dealing from the bottom of the deck “never” goes unnoticed. We know many crossline members that have gone to the President and Vice Presidents of the company over this issue. Everyone is aware of the art of demotion (not recognizing people is demotion) and the solution is easy:

Be consistent when dealing with people and be fair. Everyone should be a winner. If it’s about your personal check in the long run “YOU WILL LOSE!”
