Neocon Rick Santorum

Do you really want another Neoconservative as President?

“Santorum was one of only two senators who voted against confirming the nomination of Robert Gates as Secretary of Defense. Santorum stated that his objection was to Gates’s support for talking with Iran and Syria, because it would be an error to talk with radical Islamists.” Wikipedia

If only we had someone with the seasoned intelligence of a Robert Gates running for President instead of a wet nosed egotistical kid like leader who is sure he knows something.

You see, Rick Santorum was too young to fight in Vietnam (born May 10, 1958) and unlike Bush and friends (who wouldn’t fight) because they (like Clinton) knew it was just a war to make old white men rich.  Rick Santorum appears to really believe the nonsense he’s spewing out of his mouth.

Unlike Robert Gates who is aware that we have terrorist that we need to defend against he’s smart enough to know that everything isn’t decided with a gun.  Unfortunately, it’s your kid who has the gun because many of the neocons are idealistic chicken hawks.

Why do Republicans always mention their icon Ronald Reagan instead of the Bush family?  Because the Bush family is a huge embarrassment to the Republican party and George W. was the worst President this country has ever had and most people know it–except Rick Santorum.

Santorum’s endorsements have been identified as factors in his 2006 defeat. Despite then-President George W. Bush having a 38% approval rating in Pennsylvania, Santorum said in a debate that ‘I think he’s been a terrific president, absolutely.’   Also problematic was Santorum’s 2004 endorsement of his Republican Senate colleague Arlen Specter over conservative Congressman Pat Toomey…” Wikipedia
