Realist

There’s no conflict between realism and positivism.

The old cliché:  “The glass is half full or half empty.”

So they say, the positive person says: “It’s half full” and the negative person says:  “It’s half empty.”

The realist would tell you they are both right.

Just saying only positive things doesn’t make us a positive person and it sure doesn’t make us a realist.  The realist may believe they can achieve success if their view of the world is correct.  How do they know their view is correct?

I know several so-called positive people that don’t have a clue.  And so, ignorance is bliss?  Perhaps ignorance is just inexcusable because people believe it is being positive instead of negative?  Not everything in this world has a positive charge.

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”  John 8:32

There is nothing more liberating than the truth. Just because we know the truth doesn’t mean we are depressed or a pain to be around because that’s a different issue altogether.

Seek the truth!
