What’s wrong is the fact that it’s often not a fast lane for your career. In fact, it may be a freeway gridlock or parking lot. Mother may send you the wrong direction going to the store (getting you into gridlock) or assign you meaningless chores that puts you on the freeway in rush hour traffic.
Many in the corporate world understand that asking mother if you can do a project or something out of the ordinary is the kiss of death. Mother will say: “NO!”
In Network Marketing you are not obligated to listen to mother. In fact, you may have to put your mother in a Nursing home because she’s in the way and is getting a little too old (sorry for that metaphor).
Mother doesn’t always know what’s best for you and may be holding you back. Mother thinks she knows best but she will always keep you as a child. This is true even in Network Marketing but you have the freedom to put on the turn signals and go around mother. Empower yourself!
Form the alliances and relationships to get “you” where you want to go. Fire your mom!
