You’re Their Coach

Everyone has expert players on their team….

Gary Zukav in his book Spiritual Partnership talks about learning to coach your team of pro players (everyone has a team) and some players play more than others.

We know the names of these players well:

  • Anger
  • Jealousy
  • Disdain
  • Vengeful
  • Superiority
  • Fear
  • Patience
  • Gratitude
  • Kindness
  • Love

The list may go on because we have a big team on the bench.  Some of the players never get a chance to get on the court and we forget they are on our bench.

We have choices and when the other coaches play their Anger we can play our Anger too.  However, we could choose to sideline Anger and play Kindness.

“The more of your players you know about, the more control you have over the game.  When you know all your players and are familiar with exactly what they do (and the consequences they create), you can play the best game possible.”

Who do you play most often on your team?
