Would you consider standing in the street against Wild Bill Hickok a fair fight?
“Both men faced each other sideways in the dueling position and both fired almost simultaneously. Tutt’s shot missed, but Hickok’s didn’t, piercing Tutt through the side from about 75 yards away. Tutt called out, “Boys, I’m killed” and ran onto the porch of the local courthouse and then back to the street, where he collapsed and died.” Wikipedia
How about this fair fight? Fight scene as described in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid movie:
“Butch Cassidy: [low voice, to Sundance] Listen, I don’t mean to be a sore loser, but when it’s done, if I’m dead, kill him.
Sundance Kid: [low voice to Butch] Love to.
[waves to Harvey and smiles]
Butch Cassidy: No, no, not yet. Not until me and Harvey get the rules straightened out.
Harvey Logan: Rules? In a knife fight? No rules!
[Butch immediately kicks Harvey in the groin]
Butch Cassidy: Well, if there aint’ going to be any rules, let’s get the fight started. Someone count. 1,2,3 go.
Sundance Kid: [quickly] 1,2,3, go!”
Why was Butch Cassidy the leader of the gang? Brains! He understood that there are no fair fights [no morals or ethics either] and if you are in a fight you better be winning. Anyone that can hit you with a pistol shot from 75 yards (225 feet) may not be in your league when it comes to gun play and it pays to be smart enough to know it.
In any business the objective is to win and achieve goals. We don’t need to apologize to anyone because we don’t want to be laying dead in the street when it comes to accomplishing our goals in life. Why are we in a fight anyway? No Brains!
Do you think that it’s good business to be following a leader in Network Marketing that will sacrifice your business well-being because of their big ego? Someone willing to stand in the street against Wild Bill Hickok.
