Do you have a high maintenance mindset?
Some rich kids wonder why they can’t get a date or why certain people aren’t interested in them. It’s like a fish swimming in water or animals breathing air they don’t recognize the fact because it’s so natural. What’s natural? A high maintenance mindset. People may look at you and see a spoiled toy they can’t afford. Therefore, you may have to marry someone that thinks like you and that may be unfortunate.
Generally people are lying when they tell you that it’s not about the money. For example, most people take Network Marketing seriously because it is about the money no matter how they may want to spin it. Some of the successful people will tell you that it is about the money.
However, like the bankster that doesn’t seem to get it when other people think they are greedy and ruining it for everyone else they don’t understand it’s their mindset. Money becomes a game and a way to keep score. It is like the “Ugly American” that the natives see light their cigar with a twenty-dollar bill in a poor third world country (true story) when they don’t have enough to eat.
A lot of successful preachers in America are getting rich preaching “feel good” and “get rich” religion. Christ wasn’t remotely interested in a ball and chain (should I do wrong and keep my mansion, etc. issue). You can find that out by reading Matthew chapter four.
We are told he didn’t have a place to lay his head. It wasn’t too difficult for him to move on. Contrary (180 degrees off) to the religion today what did Christ teach:
“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:23
